Hey does anyone consider their YouTube to be growing really well? If you fit into that category, would you mind sharing some tips that you noticed aided the growth? I made one YouTube video a couple weeks back and it got 70 views. It was edited all on my phone and stuff. It was literally just a collection of my game clips for a specific game. I’d like to transition into making tips and tricks videos or something of that nature.

I’m just not very educated in video editing or anything to do with YouTube. I do have a desktop now which should be capable of video editing considering it has an i5 processor
I been restreaming on youtube only just don't feel making video I tried enough with it ,it got over 100 views with fall guys then it start to fall off(edited)
Also, I feel like the #promotion channel is kinda useless, no? I've never posted in it

I feel like the point of this discord is to connect with other people that have the same goals and stuff, not to just try and promote yourself. I don't think people take the time to go through that promotion page imo
I do my best as well, but I follow so many people on twitch now and so many are live at the same time I just end conversing for a few minutes and then letting them know I’ll be lurking
I don’t know not just doing very well in the twitch stats section and whatever event though I’m doing most of the things people have told me to in order to grow
1. Clean your room. It looks awful 2. Speak up. You mumble a lot 3. Great webcam quality 4. Great stream quality 5. Explain what you are doing and why. I have no idea what game you are playing and what you are doing
Hey, I just joined the subreddit and saw the discord link. Wondering what gets you guys up in the morning, why you love streaming so much, and how you can keep grinding every day without the guarantee of success. I personally love streamers and think they’re some of the most interesting people out there.
Hey @Ben - for me, it's just fun to grow. And as difficult as it can be (and sometimes you feel yourself moving backwards) the steps forward are pretty rewarding. I also like capturing moments with my friends, so having twitch save my streams or allow me to clip things is nice.
So i'm new to streaming -- i streamed a little a few years ago but this week has been the most consistent that i've ever streamed. Im looking for ideas/suggestions on how to reach out to a larger audience other than my irl friends. being that i am playing an oversaturated game (warzone) i know this is probably a bigger challenge but nonetheless im sure yall have some good suggestions for where i can start to invest my time
The problem with warzone isnt that it is saturated, its that 100% of the audience is watching less than 1% of the streamers meaning everyone is watching either pros or people who have been streaming for years
You need to start creating content on another social media platform, to draw new viewers into your stream.

Could be YouTube, Instagram or even TikTok (Haven't got much knowledge on this one)

Twitch has zero discoverabilty. That means that people have to actively search for new channels to literally stumble upon yours.

Warzone isn't the kind of game where you have the freedom to 'reinvent the wheel' with gameplay, so people tend to stick with the big streamers, like @Novolone said.
A lot of people have told me that twitter has helped them grow tremendously but I don’t see it. All I see are a bunch of follow for follows which do nothing for you
hey ive just started streaming again after moving back to my parents for my last year at uni and due to the internet the max i can get is 648p, do you think that would put off potential viewers?(edited)
Its a little rough, but I think maybe you could get away with it. You could even try shrinking your video and doing a sectioned overlay. So your gameplay is smaller and would look better.
Yeah, it def isn't the best situation but if your adamant on streaming i think doing an overlay that would shrink your video is gonna be your best bet :)
if i have a couple viewers and i dont know what to play i will ask my viewers, but usually I will play Rainbow 6, Fall guys, Among us, or Minecraft, i use to stream fortnite, but who plays that anymore
so you need a way to guarantee some viewers at least ~5 would be a good starting place, friends and family who can tune in when you go live, then it's about making friends and joining communities that are interested in what you want to play/stream
@inactive account just go on fiverr, they have a lot of graphic designers
@SouL it's a good option if you wanna have custom graphics on your stream. I'd recommend that you get to know what you'll get for your money before you order something. There are some good professionals there, but there are also a lot of "copy-paste designers", that will either give you a basic pre-made kit (disregarding all your ideas) or use copyrighted content in your artwork (getting you into trouble in the future).
Hello, anyone who understands streamlabs and would help me with this problem? when i want to set up my goals in Streamlabs obs my editor is just black and nothing is shown in there. When i try to add it it just wont show.
One guy CAUGHT ME with a body (that I had just killed, half a second before he appeared), and I said that I was fixing wires and I didn't see anything. I don't know how, but everyone believed me instead of him.
