I've no idea xD it depends on so many different things.
9:11 PM
For some, luck is definitely a factor. Some people just suddenly grow out of nowhere. For others it's a long slog where you barely get two viewers on your stream.
But to follow your question urshi your viewer count is really good and it’s always at like 7-10! When I changed out of animal crossing I still kept my loyal viewers and that’s how you know that they will be with you no matter what.
@urshi yeah what moses said. Don't focus just on the followers/viewers. Make it a stream you would want to watch. Make it entertaining and visibly clean. There are fans for all game types, and since you're bumping from one switch game to another, you shouldnt have too much trouble maintaining that viewer base, but it is likely you may lose some. But you'll pick more up in All Stars.
Wait @dyl4n are you watching your stream on your pc while youre streaming?
7:30 AM
Cause if you are, just mute the stream. I have mine in a second window but i have to have it muted cause otherwise it counts as desktop audio and will basically echo infinitely
@OnionJoePlays I don’t think it matters but I’m not super sure, I understood what was happening and I have only played three but there might have been some subtle things I missed
I've started playing Resident Evil 7 the last couple of nights. Lot of fun but I'm such a baby with horrors need to stop playing before bed I reckon...

@OnionJoePlays ahahahah, don't say that
10:34 AM
morning @FantasticMrCat , @Friendly and @maaliktomtom(edited)
Ooo I'll definitely check out the dlc for them then! Its been a little bit of a slow start but hoping the more I progress, the more people will show up
Yea and I guess it is hard to say there is a great community when I should say “In the time zones I played during I ran into so cool people. Super kind. Just be aware a lot want to guide you thru the horror lol
How is the streamer interaction going on here? ive seen my gf in a discord where they do like streamer of the week, and everyone streaming gets a couple highlighted days a month to help growth and support within the group, anything here i should know ?
11:47 AM
i want to help the community here, i am completely new and have a lot of spare hours of support to give!
Most people seem to be active in #💬│chat right here. You can promote yourself in #old🔴streams and ask for technical help in #🔧│tech-support-archive. Other than that, most questions which people ask get answered here but I don't think much else goes on to do things as you described.
11:50 AM
We're a friendly bunch though. And we have fun and interact here. The mods and the larger streamers are more popular amongst the group and get the most attention, you can watch their streams and learn by example.
its going all good here, just got finished setting up my twitch account and got some new gear coming in so that i can start going live for the first time this week hopefully wbu?
i will be playing quite diverse, lately ive been mostly at destiny 2, always play some league when im just chilling, warzone, ghost of tsushima..valorant?
I've streamed God Eater 3 before, Warframe as well. With the addition of a capture card however, I've started playing Animal Crossing and Hyrule Warriors for Switch, but I've got a bunch of games on there I can play now.
Mostly. Had to get tested for virus, came back negative, had to go through stupid amount of calls to get approved to go back to work, and still trying to figure out how I'm going to afford moving.
I'm geeking out. Lead author on the Heckna campaign I was talking about responded to my Tweet about wanting to make Heckna masks, and also responded to my comment on the Heckna Discord about want to make a cosplay of the main villain.
tru, even no sure if tick tock communite can be aim to TF :D, I guess have to follow the trends and go though Gary mods :D? I just wanna play, chill and talk with some ppl.
Yeah honestly looks like really good people to work for. I'm in the service industry and once you hit salary/management here they work you as much as they can, but this place seems to have the mindset for a good work/life balance. Still 50-55 hours, but they try and get your days off in a row, vacation time, etc. So I'm looking forward to it. Upper management is really down to earth
3:34 PM
But the new Conan Exiles map dropped today and I wanted to play D:
I understand amigo. Salary was one of the worse choices I made workin. I am sure there are good cases and places but man when it is bad it is bad xD And Exiles has been trending lately lots getting excited for it. I know at least two viewers mentioned setting up a server for it
Yeah I've worked 70+ hours a week. At that point I couldve worked two 35 hour jobs and made more money lol. So hopefully this will be a good squeeze. Showing 5.2k viewers on twitch for Conan rn. I'll be invisible by the time I get to playing xD Oh well. Still gonna play cause I'm getting it for the content, not the stream fodder
This is true. That gamble is more in my favor on games with less people streaming, though xD I got my biggest a couple weeks back, was a 20 man raid from one of the bigger streamers on The Cycle. Was really cool. They bumped me over the 100 follower mark, but now I'm slowly sinking back towards it lol
Oh I feel that lol People love that unfollow button The cycle always looked good. When I tried it around launch it only streamed the game when I paused. Was a strange graphical glitch.
Yeah it's been around for a couple years but still "Early access" meanwhile it has a battle pass lol
3:56 PM
But most early access games are soaking up that funding like that now. They gotta get paid somehow. It's fun, though, even with the bugs, and theyre constantly updating / fixing it which is nice to see, rather than abandoning it completely
No u got this all wrong. I would not be thr one going out of my way to be mean. Almost every time I play SnD the lobbies are soooo toxic towards me bc im a woman and I find it quite funny at time. And I know some people find it funny was just curious
You got a lot of work to do, if you wanna become an 'elite streamer', as you put it. Start learning how to edit your own videos, for a start.
11:07 AM
Then learn about marketing, branding, how social media works, how to speak in public, how to better develop your content... You'll start figuring out more as you progress.
11:08 AM
If you are 17, you got more time on your hands than you realize it. So start doing something with it now.
@Deleted User if you're looking for viewers, I'd honestly tone down your "sad" introduction away from your personal issues, and away from the fact that you're looking to collect peoples' money. Nobody is going to tune into that. Move more towards games you enjoy, what got you into gaming, etc. And as for your other question, I think the answer is: twitch doesn't save your streams unless you are affiliate
Not as close as that might feel xD That average takes a while to get up, cause every time you're below 3, you're slipping away, and every time you're just at 3, you're barely hanging on... Not to be a downer xD You got this!
Doing good thanks @Mustache , finished up an hour ago so my evening has begun! @CorceTV I'm awful with horror games resi 7 is the first one I've properly played but the adrenaline rush has hooked me!
yea i know im not close to three, i just want to think i am, but if i keep thinking that, then i will be disappointed that im not. I think that all my past streams are holding me back, and i need to average like 5 or 6, instead of 3 because my average back in august was like 0.96
@OnionJoePlays if you wanna see an embarassing clip of me screaming lmk i'll send it to you haha @SouL yeah mb don't mean to sound so negative but that average is the real struggle here. You'll get there, though! I ended up securing mine when I was doing live gambling lol - had 21 viewers, most I'd ever had
