2160p60 can't be transferred over USB from the Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+. The available USB 3.0 bandwidth doesn't allow for that much data to be transferred at once.

The 4k60 is hella expensive for rinky dink operation, I think.

question. im streaming destiny 2, my frames i locked 120fps , but when i get into fast moving content slobs drops frames. i then locked my frames to 60fps no dropped frames. is there a way that i can game at higher fps without this occuring. meaning i play in 120fps but the stream still sees 60fps ?

@Mindchatter I’ll give you a rundown on this later, but the issue is too much motion. You will want to dumb down your stream to something like 720p60 or 1080p30
I have output(scaled resolution at 720p 60fps. I found that if i turn down a lot of the settings from very high to medium it helped alot but still a bit jittery. I was hoping to get a buttery smooth looking stream. But im guessing thats what 60fps looks like

My next hurdle is finding a way to stream what my iPad sees to the computer and then put an overlay of me on a corner. I appreciate the help you’ve offer thus far. Got a sony zv-1 and a c920 looking to do camera angle changes over a span of lets say every 30 seconds it changes in obs how do i set this up
Do that outside of OBS e.g. with Firebot. Setting up a timer that toggles source visibility via OBS Websocket should be the easiest way.

As far as I know, you'd want to AirPlay to your laptop, and then use that as an input source in OBS.

Hey all, can anyone give some advice for me for Rode X XDM vs BEACN Mic? the BEACN is on sale for black friday and it brings the price down to the Rode , and the onboard processing on the BEACN means lower latency to my stream then doing the EQ in Windows, but the Rode software in the future "might" become really good as the lean into streaming. I am going Dynamic USB because I travel and dont always have the travel space to take XLR setups with interfaces etc...

Nice. So it gives several advantages to the stress put on systems. How much GPU, RAM, and PC stress are you saving with dual?
For example, I have my stream PC set up so that windows and programs start and set themselves up automatically, so the computer is essentially ready to stream whenever.
Perhaps I just do things the harder way, I have no idea what you mean lol

Well, it's more my OCD in terms of why I would want to go dual. My ram use gets to 20% and I get annoyed.

It will probably do depending on what you want to stream. I'd highly recommend to check out r/buildapc on Reddit. With a budget of 1k you'll be able to build something better yourself and it's a lot easier then most people worry for.
Do y'all have any good courses that you can recommend to get more familiar with Resolve? I've dabbled with it a few times but it feels like a behemoth; a complete basic course would be fantastic. (Paid ones included)
