hi guys. i kinda have two questions. 1. does someone here like.. gets lighting? i was looking for help on this regard. someone that i could maybe ask questions on private because i dont wanna flood here with my questions. i hope im not asking something im not supposed to i know all the help in here is like out of the kindness of the heart and i really dont wanna feel like im asking too much. secondly - would you guys watch a stream that is below 720p? ive been streaming on a half decent notebook and ive managed to stream with no framerate drops which is nice. but when i open google to see who is online for a raid, or open discord, shit hits the fan real fast. this usually is not a problem but i wanted to be able to do some co-op bloodborne talking on a voice chat sometime soon and if things like this keep happening ill not be able to. I ASSUME that lowering my resolution would help but im not sure. anyway, thanks in advance :3

@maaliktomtom well I do a dual stream set up but before that you just have to cycle between display capture, window capture, or game capture until you find one that works.

Hey I'm pretty new to streaming does anyone have advice over whether or not it's better to use a webcam? sometimes I feel like i'm too self concious with my appearance to focus on the game or talking but I know people also like to see the streamer they're watching sometimes

Webcam is better 9 times outta 10. Just be somewhat presentable and remember you're live so try not to pick your nose too much

I got raided yesterday by a streamer with a considerable amount of followers and when I watched the replay of his stream, one of the reasons he and his friends/followers decided to pick me was I was one of the people on the list with a webcam

It's all chance. Can also depend on the game you're playing. I was playing The Cycle which doesnt have a massive streamer base like, say, fall guys, cod, or fortnite

But out of the 10-15 people streaming it on twitch, I was one of like 6 with a webcam. And I just got lucky this guy chose me. We've never interacted before. And even with my terrible aim (which was noted by several people in his channel and discord lol) 20 people dropped in and 5 or 6 followed. He had also noticed my follower goal. I was 99/100, so I think that factored in also. They wanted to help push me over

I agree that promotions is fast moving and now going live Some is just yelling into the void at people like “please come chat too that helps more!” But I understand the appeal of an easy. “If I post in promo I get views” that is on their mind. Long for content is a pain but worth it I feel. I won’t admit how long that took to edit. But I only started learning YouTube 12 days ago
