Hi. o/ Graphic designer here (I have a bachelor). How much feedback do you want exactly? Because I could literally write you an essay. If you want a quick answer, go with the second one. First 1 makes zero sense, especially that font choice.
We've confirmed with designer so we can't make any big changes, but it probably would be interesting to hear. If you've got nothing better to do

So this is all based on the fact that I do not know what you are going for exactly. I can only guess based on the visuals. I'm going to guess you wanted something bright, geometric, and technology inspired. Maybe something a little retro. Maybe you stream retro games. I am going to assume these graphics are logos for a stream. The first one is just not appropriate for a stream. It looks really dated. The font choice is terrible. I can see the font does not have traditional lowercase. For me personally I avoid those fonts. It is very restrictive in what you can achieve with them. The centre triangle is messy and not centred, which throws off the entire design. Something so geometric should be perfect. It is the small details here that make the overall design unfavourable. The geometric graphic has no meaning to me. It gives no good first impression, which is what a logo is meant to do. This makes me think of an 80s tech company that went out of business in the 90s because they couldn't keep up and make changes. 
If I were the designer I would not have even gone into Illustrator to create this concept. This is a warmup, not something to present to the client. The second one is better for a lot of reasons. The font choice is very appropriate. The colours give off that retro vibe but stay contemporary. The gradient is nice but overused. I wish the letters were different from the squares. If you look the designer applied the exact same gradient on the letters and the squares. I would have tried to do something different. Maybe make each letter a solid colour and create a pattern out of that. Maybe use 1 solid colour for the entire name. I think negative space is used better here. I only spent around £20 on this, so for what it's worth I think it's pretty good. Yeah I think that price is appropriate for what you got. I hope I was somewhat helpful, or gave some insight into what others might get as a first impression of your graphic. I also hope you went with option 2. xD I think one of the differences between an amateur/hobbyist/informally trained designer versus a formally trained designer is the fact that the formally trained is faster at working and therefore capable of trying more variations of their design to get to the best option. It is really showcased here. In this case I would have tried more variations with the colour placement as I described for the second logo. There are of course a lot of other differences, I just think the main issue here is the designer did not think to experiment. Another huge difference is understanding the principles and rules and then learning to break them. A lot of informally trained artists/designers don't know the concepts and principles of design, so lack a good foundation. There is nothing wrong with hiring a hobbyist, but it's important to know there is a difference between my 5 year degree and someone who does it for fun. (:

You gotta self evaluate and look for an aspect of your content that you feel you need to improve. Could be technical (video feed, audio, mic, webcam/lighting, etc), aesthetic (how much info do you actually need on your screen to interact with your viewers? Are you being consistent with your colors and shapes in your overlays?), behavior (Do you speak what's on your mind very often, even when no one is interacting with you on your chat? Do you have a positive attitude overall on camera?) or even a routine thing (How often do you stream, and for how long? Do you have a target audience for the times you open up your stream?)

Getting viewers, reaching affiliate and "getting that streamer money" aren't "goals", these are consequences that come along the way when you got a clear objective for your content. Find out what your stream should be about, create your content around that thing you love - people can perceive when you aren't doing something that you enjoy, so don't try to find viewership into categories you don't relate to, those viewers never stick around.

How does this work?

I setup a python script thru OBS that allows it to send a code thru the PC when a certain channel is muted (my mic). The Arduino is coded to read that code. When the code is triggered to mute (via Hotkey I have setup) the LED light starts flashing. When the code is triggered to unmute (via another Hotkey) the LED stops flashing. No more accidentally muted mic for hours while streaming.

Yep! I suggested it to one of my recent clients, he got one from AliExpress (since it was cheaper than the same kit on Amazon, and he's absolutely new to streaming, gotta learn the basics before he invests into more advanced gear). Arrived in less than 10 days on the US, he's already been putting it to good use.

Cables can be a pain to deal with. Here I was able to push it through the power cable tubes inside the walls, straight from the living room to the office

@TenderSausage On YouTube they don't seem to show who's watching, unless they're also commenting. I can't figure out how to tell if bots or humans otherwise. I've also reached out to Roblox directly to ask if this is a real thing. Even if it is innocent, it felt like a high-pressure sales pitch. I'm glad I didn't mod them right away, rushing into things never ends well.

Yep. I got lost in the "What do users enjoy" trap for a long time, and now it's just about me and what I want to play. It seems self-centered, but it should. People come to see you and your content, which could be a game, it could be reviewing packs of bubble gum. Make it about you, and people will come. You have to be honest.
Keep it a passion by keeping it fun and about your enjoyment.

In portuguese we got the words "trabalho" (meaning 'work' and 'job') and "emprego" (meaning employment). People say you'd rather be employed to get paid for doing what you enjoy, than to work to get paid. Don't know if it makes much sense translating it to English, but I think it has the same point.

Yeah, a lot of the time it's just an algorithmic thing... If they used a service like TuneCore to publish their music, then they'll still get picked up by DMCA tech. Just be aware that the artist's okay isn't always enough, because they sign a contract with a label.

What I ask of you is this: 1 - Do you make it abundantly clear to your viewers that you are in this for the money - to the point of asking for subs and donations on a regular basis? 2 - Do you enjoy what you do, or do you treat your content as a job you have to do - and if the later, do you think it could affect your engagement with your viewers? 3 - How relevant is the money aspect of your CC career, in comparison with the community formed around your brand? Would you go for a regular job opportunity that paid you more than your current income, if it required you to drop everything else? 4 - You mentioned conflict, but what do you mean? A conflict of interests due to your monetization plans? Or a conflict within your thoughts, because you think it feels "wrong" to be doing this for any other reason that isn't live and dedication for your content and viewers?

1) None ever asked why i stream or do content creation. but when the time comes, i will answer the question truthfully. Even though i want this to be a career, i don't beg for it. The viewers money are their money. no one else. So no, i dont ask for subs or donation on a regular basis. 2) It is a mixed roller coaster feeling. At times, i enjoyed what i do but at times, i really despise doing the stuff i do. its because its mainly because the work i did didn't get a result i wanted and not gaining any traction or followers. In the end, the quality i do is king and only way to grow and get any engagement. 3)I do make enough money to pay for the important and mandatory stuff such as tax and bills. but in all, i really hate the job i have. i only stay because i could gain money. I would gladly drop that job the moment i can make a decent amount of money on twitch. i can do something less stressful, gain sponsorship, gain connection with someone important or someone i really like and admire, and most importantly, play more games. 4)The idea of telling people i do stream and content creation only for money creates conflict because my whole reason and motivation is simply only for money. theres no heroism reason or anything "meaningful" from their perspective. Thus i ask this question. If my reason and motivation to stream was deemed "wrong" then there will be conflict only simply because my goals doesn't aligned to someone elses.
Here's my own plan: I'm going to create YouTube videos for the brazilian streamer audience, to spread knowledge on what to do to improve their channels, their content, their branding... All the content creators that I've seen from here so far spread disinformation, bullshit like F4F (ffs... 
), try to sell courses for stuff that you'd find for free in English on channels like Alpha Gaming, Gaming Careers, EposVox, Nutty, Gael... Due to the language barrier. So I'll try my best to spread what I know of years of working with social media, creating content for other streamers (as a Graphic Designer) and on Discord servers (been an admin for years on a few servers) to get information out there that makes a difference for people out here. After I establish myself as someone knowledgeable in the field (one or two years), I may create and sell some condensed information classes going in depth on topics that people see value in (graphic design tools, social media workings and algorithms, branding for content creators, etc). I'm currently planning out my content (creating assets, splitting content in a way that I can create scripts for the videos, planning how to spread word of my content in brazilian communities), and will start recording material in the coming months. So I’ve been streaming for a few months & get an average of like 1 viewer Lol... & even then they don’t really interact because there’s only so much texting that one person can do to someone playing video games. I feel like I’m missing something & I may know what it is... until I have a small viewer base that I can interact with & they can interact between them, I feel like I need a streaming “partner” so to speak. Someone I can interact with so that if 1-2 people are viewing, they’re not watching me sit there in a chair, they at least have some chit chat / banter to entertain them while they are there by themselves. The problem is none of my friends stream, & they really don’t talk much. Great to play with, but not so great when it comes to streaming content. Anyone out there who would be interested in teaming up for streams just to get some dialogue going & try to build a viewer base? I have about 60 followers. I’m not a Twitch affiliate (due to not having enough average viewers), I don’t make money off this (though I’d love to if possible in the future), I just do it for fun. My stream quality is pretty good/produced. I’ve been posting some vids to Twitter/tiktok/YouTube just to try to get more followers or whatever. I’m really not trying to do this as my career, it’s just for something fun to do. I mostly play Warzone but would be open to playing other coop games. Anybody interested in playing together to see if we vibe & can maybe make some watchable content?
My friend, they are they to chat with YOU. You need to be talking talking talking. They aren’t there just to watch you play unless you’re Warzone Jesus and noscope360ing every other player. Entertaining your viewers is the whole point of streaming! Talk about you day or your random thoughts or the game or whatever but YOU need to engage.

Having to wake up everyday to a job you hate because you need the money is the worst feeling in the world, and it can get you anxious really fast (Been there myself a few years ago). You are NOT streaming just for the money, you are doing this to improve your quality of life - eliminating the worries about shitty work environment (physical place and coworkers included), not wasting time on a daily basis going and returning from work, having time to take care of your physical, mental and social health... All that without money becoming another constant worry in your life. Streaming is a business. And I don't mean "Twitch is a business", but you, as a content creator, are the face of your own brand. Your job is to grow your brand, and you do that by providing the people you reach with content they enjoy. For this, they'll give you their support, through donations, subs or even talking about you to others - the best thing anyone could hope for their brand, to be directly recommended to others by someone who is truly into whatever it is that you do. Don't be ashamed of talking about money issues, now or later on, it will be a part of what you do, so focus on it instead. How can you work to improve your content for your viewers, and start planning for monetization in the future, in ways that people will want to support you? Selling merch, providing knowledge in some way, creating new ways to interact with your viewers...
To be honest, i want to keep my goal and motivation. i don't have any intention of changing it anytime soon. i am asking that if the people here are okay with people do streaming only for the sake of doing it for money. i see that my focus should it shift into somewhere else but changing my goals is not something i will ever change. i don't want to treat streaming as a hobby for too long if theres no results for months or even years.

You dont have to change your motivation, if thats your goal you're allowed to have it lol Just bear in mind you are providing a service to customers, and if your customers dont like your goals there is not much your fellow streamers can do about that :)

Resuming what I meant before, as Feli said: Money is just the tool you'll get as a result of the time you are investing into your work to reach your goals. Don't overthink on what you don't have now, but plan on how to get there. Money isn't the solution to everything, but we still depend on it to get much of what we need today... And it can open the doors to a lot of things. Consider it more as a side effect of achieving what you want (and something you can use to reach into currently more "difficult" goals) instead of the main purpose of your focus and mindset.

and going from no expereince to a control heavy game like Monster Hunter seems like a bit of a spike

It’s hard to control, I play multiplayer games & invite viewers to join.

I have a few rules set up, "be polite and respectful, no name calling, no swearing or racism", so I can time ppl out for those. But the other ones are hard to manage, there's not really a good way to control. Some of the hacks are anonymous so it breaks the game without showing who's doing it.
@alonewolf42 It sounds like something that will continue to be an issue as long as hacking is possible, unfortunately.

@test It depends. If you are a partner of a platform, they may have exclusivity to the content. I know Twitch Affiliates and Partners are supposed to give Twitch exclusivity for 24-hours before posting on YouTube or other platforms according to what I’ve read.
That's what I find odd about the agreement on affiliates on Twitch. You barely get any advantages, but they can still block your account if you dare consider other platforms as alternatives to grow your reach/audience. Sounds exactly like those early YouTube groups (like Machinima) that would get content creators to sign contracts where they would be stuck creating videos for years, getting almost no profit (if any).
