Yea the goal of this channel was to announce charity streams. @Misio made the server and although I am not 100% on everything I am sure trying to spam or self promote in an area that is made primarily to help others would be considered poor taste. Many of us have our own servers and discords, the goal of this one isn't to force people over to yours, but more to have a public forum where you can find like minded streamers, help and more importantly make a difference. For the person who did post, best way I suggest getting people into yours is spend time in their streams and talk to them. Many people here I have spent time in their streams and chatted with them and especially in this trying time, lets keep the charity room to charity. @Tjpo0202 and others did some really cool work with getting money to people struggling with Covid-19 and how it has shaken up lives. Let's all stay awesome and remember to be the change you want to see in the world.

@everyone I’m starting this an apology for the @ but I feel that this is an important message after I was informed of what happened. This channels objective is and will remain to be solely for the effort of charity fundraising, whether it be personal or major events. Before getting to the meat of the announcement, I’d like to thank everybody for the support on resolving the pinging issue, I deeply appreciate the support, as well as nobody attacking announcers for the @‘s, cause I know everyone hates everyone @‘s and the lack of attacks shows how much this community cares and can support each other. But onto the part where a hammer goes down a little. From today forward, charity announcment will need to be given permission, which I will primarily be in charge of. I will be doing background checks for validity, and if any announcements are posted without permission, they will be removed and I will ask for links and proof of validity. Any other messages that are not related to charity events will be removed as well, unless they are words of support or potential ideas to add to events Everyone be aware that this channel will be using everyone mentions for the announcements, and I ask that nobody attack or confront the announcers about this because charity events during Times of crisis (including personal crisis) are important and should be brought to as many peoples attention as possible. We here are in fact a community, so I ask that we come together to help make charity events a supported topic, and that we can help keep things friendly and working

I’ve been streaming live on twitch for NoKidHungry since the Quarantine started. Helps kiddos who used to get lunches thru school now still get lunch since normal school has been canceled for some states for the rest of the year... Dm me for more details.

Hello everyone! I hope your weekend has been enjoyable and that you are safe. I post here today to announce the fundraising stream to help with my medical bills. Earlier this year, I learned that I have cancer. I've had one surgery already, and I have another one scheduled the 20th of July. This one will keep me from working for as much as 8 weeks, (assuming no complications) Several of my friends have offered to help me with a fundraising stream. My friend Marina is charity streaming this Friday at 5pm PST for Trans Day of Remembrance. Funds raised go directly to the Trans Lifeline charity for trans youth struggling with mental health. I’m very proud of my community for helping me raise $207 towards the trevor project and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community for my 24/hr stream yesterday!
