Hey guys I clipped something after one of my streams and it doesnt show up on my channel. Overall I have 4 clips in the last 7 days but only 3 of them show up. The fourth one is 58 second long and only appear in the Video Producer tab. Anyone knows why?

so, does anybody that likes to stream and record at the same time know how to record the camera as a separate source so the resolution doesn't look horrible in editing, i know about source record but it is super buggy for me, btw i have a sony zv-10 if it matters since it's not just a usb webcam
Assuming you hit record, you should be able to use a capture card to keep the camera as your in-game webcam while recording..might not be too easy

That's what a free one will get you. The paid apps are typically more stable and supported, without watermarks.

I haven't watched this, but most Sony cameras have clean HDMI out

So I just put it in and have everything connected best I can tell, USB connector into the header and and connected to the Asus controller. Fans running fine, but the CPU is overheating

It should have a mounting bracket that acts as a sping to prevent overtightening

I have three inlet and three outlet fans in my main rig:
- 3 Case fans, drawing air into the case;
- 2 Fans pushing air out of the case and through an AIO cooler;
- 1 Fan at the rear of the case to remove additional hot air.
I was told that I should do 2 pushing air in and 1 pulling out since I only have 3 fans at the moment
@Urist Try OBS. Start by reading up on what it is on their website, and watching a few tutorial videos on YouTube. There are a ton of free plugins available for it. Once you’ve gotten your feet wet there, get a feel for if it’s too complicated or not; if you feel comfortable, OBS will treat you well. If it’s too complicated, take a look at the software options from each streaming service. For example, you can use Twitch Studio directly in a browser.

Some cheap Chinese one, but the output itself is fine and I'm not using the pass-through so it shouldn't really affect anything.

Hey y'all I got a weird conundrum was wondering if I can get some assistance. I'm using Streamlabs & my capture card is the Razer Ripsaw HD hooked up to my laptop so that I can stream from my consoles. My issue is that I can get all the console audio to come through just fine on stream, but since I'm on console I use my laptop to be logged in on Discord (From Opera GX web browser) so I can chat with my friends when I play with them, but I'm unable to find a combination of audio setting to be able to capture the discord audio to be heard via the stream. Can I get any help?
If I understood your issue, you could try to add new audio output source and use desktop audio capture. Can't think of other solutions right now as I don't know how your audio has been set up

@mmj Budget is probably the most limiting factor. Please let us know what you can spend. So far, it sounds like you are looking for a motherboard and CPU, which begs the question; Will you need RAM (probably)?
@ren You will need to lower the graphics quality in games, but it's capable. The weak point in that build is the GPU (obv).

Hey Guys, iv been trying to stream using my Lenovo Legion Y540 Laptop but am running into issues like frame drops and encoder overload. I have tried multiple possible combinations of settings, software and other methods recommended by YouTube tutorials and subreddits but nothing seems to work. I have seen other people easily stream with the same laptop at 1080p60 with decent quality video so I am confused as to why my laptop isn't able to do so. These are the specs of my laptop: Lenovo Legion Y540 Gaming Laptop i5-6300h Laptop CPU (Quad core) GTX 1650 Laptop GPU (4GB) 16 Gigabytes of 2666Mhz Laptop memory 60hz Inbuilt display and I run everything at 60fps not over it I settled down on using OBS because its supposed to be the least demanding and want to stream to Youtube on these settings: 7000 Bitrate, CBR 1080p60 Bicubic The Encoder i have set it to NVIDIA NVENC H.264(new) as thats what people are recommending but i have observed that im getting better stream using my CPU although it is putting a lot of stress on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated.
What kind of games are you streaming? To be quite frank 1080p60 can be taxing even on beefier hardware and if you add something on top with high gpu usage you'll end up with what you described.

Try something slower and see if the problem persists - or 30fps. I'd say it's an hardware performance issue.

i tried 240p with 30fps everything absolutely cranked down to low even in game settings and made sure OBS is top priority in windows still it was terrible

I don't think I can answer that; The end product is subjective. Try them out and see what sounds good to you.
@buttcheeksio I can weigh in on this a bit later, after some coffee. Basically, it's a mixing issue. We may need to use a mixing software like VoiceMeeter to get you set up.

@Gabbing About It looks to me like you have a lighting issue. Fore lighting is probably too high, and back lighting is too low. See if you can add a little bit of light behind you to separate you from the background.

Also, check to see if you set your exposure to a manual stop; It may need adjustment.

I currently have no back lighting, maybe look at some LED strips to rectify that! Worse case, I could move one of my 2 Litra lights to the background... Hmm. Thank you.

I don't have any filters applied in OBS. I have put a soft orange LUT on now and it's made it a little better. Might just stick with that until I can get a new one!

It's called a Nexigo. Most people have never heard of the brand. It's a webcam

What kind of mic setup would you recommend via the USB interface? Budget let's say up to $250
ours is probably a little outside that range, but you might be able to get all the pieces much more cheaply looking on eBay instead of buying new (like I think we got a pack of 3 mixing boards for $30, and found a knock-off of the mic for $50, but I can't remember where). You miss some customizing with the channels from not including the mixer, but depending on your purposes you may not need that, and your microphone will still sound just as good.
does anybody know if it's possible to snip the last 2/3 minutes of a stream in OBS much like you can with MedalTV for gaming? My husband and I have had fun snipping League moments using MedalTV, but I kind of hate that Medal's interface is exclusive and makes it difficult to share. For example, MedalTV video links do not play automatically in Facebook like they could if uploaded to YouTube, and you can't even comment unless you download MedalTV's software to make an account. I'm trying to find if OBS has a similar stream snip feature, since we're also familiar with that for live streaming. My use case would be recording a stream to upload later, but to save space/make editing easier I'd be cool if I could instead run OBS and press a hotkey to save off the last few minutes of recording as a separate file. I know I could just record everything and edit later, but I'd rather not sift through hours of content later looking for those 30 second funny clips. Tech setup in case it helps, but for this purpose we should have all this part figured out: Output/Broadcast Settings: screen and audio capture to upload later i.e. recording, not live video Video Settings: OBS screen capture from one player point of view, no player camera for this purpose Computer Specs: Windows desktop PCs Streaming Equipment: 2 mics hooked up to a mixer, we have this part all figured out
