Hey guys I clipped something after one of my streams and it doesnt show up on my channel. Overall I have 4 clips in the last 7 days but only 3 of them show up. The fourth one is 58 second long and only appear in the Video Producer tab. Anyone knows why?

so, does anybody that likes to stream and record at the same time know how to record the camera as a separate source so the resolution doesn't look horrible in editing, i know about source record but it is super buggy for me, btw i have a sony zv-10 if it matters since it's not just a usb webcam

I am having a small problem if anybody is here I have IP Webcam linked to OBS I am seeing a little small black bar at the bottom that is jumpy every few seconds and I am seeing it on my Twitch stream to how do I remove the black bar??(edited)
I would like to know if a Logitech Streamcam is better or to use a Sony A5000 with a cheap capture device. I'm sure this question has been asked a lot. My english is terrible, the last message was generated by a translator
Comparing to what I know of these cameras (I don't own neither), the A5000 would be better compared to the Streamcam. But can't it be connected directly to your PC?
2:40 PM
So you wouldn't need any capture devices for that.
Hacking a Sony Alpha for clean HDMI out: On my journey to find the perfect image for video conferences and lectures with a spare DSLM camera I found several solutions to use a Sony Alpha as a webcam - with varying results and obstacles. Click the image to see the video on youtube.com. The video should give a good overview and examples of what to...
I use the Logitech Streamcam for its AI tracking. I can confirm it is very good for a vtuber avatar - it follows my motions really well - but I'm not sure how good it is as a camera, seems fine on Teams lol
I am having another problem I am running IP Webcam video works just fine I can not get audio to work with the app and OBS. I have IP Webcam setup as a media source in OBS any tips how to get the audio to work I do not want a 3 to 4 seconds delay from the audio??(edited)
Hello again, I watched a few YouTube videos, but wanted to be certain I’m doing this correctly. I’m getting the capture card tonight. Due to limited availability, I’m getting the HD60 S Elgato capture card. It is my understanding that it comes with an HDMI cable. Will I need to buy an additional cable? Does my laptop need to be connected to the tv or capture card as well? With my current set-up, my laptop is far away from my tv, so I would need a really long cord to connect it all
9:56 PM
My Nintendo switch dock is right by my tv
9:58 PM
This is my set-up for streaming:
9:58 PM
9:59 PM
If it needs to all be connected, would it be easier to connect to a monitor on the same desk as my laptop rather than my tv across the room?
So I just put it in and have everything connected best I can tell, USB connector into the header and and connected to the Asus controller. Fans running fine, but the CPU is overheating
4:13 AM
I know I've found a couple of things saying there have been some rma's but I wanted to make sure I didn't fuck things up before doing that
Yeah, it's second build. I mean worse case scenario I send it for an rma and use my old cooler. I just really really wanted this one to work. I just don't understand why it's not
Lol. I was expecting it to be similar to the Asus ryuo I used. Since it was the same brand and only a couple of years between releases. Nope, ditched the aio pump connector entirely. Which is half my worry
Did you take the plastic off of the water block, @eternalprimo ?
2:59 PM
Newegg/ABS didn't do that on the last two prebuilt machines I bought, and it hosed up one of my Intel CPUs.
3:00 PM
Also, thermal paste? Are you using the stuff that came with it, or something you bought separately?
3:01 PM
Also, orientation of the radiator can cause overheating due to the water not moving, or cavitating the pump. Can you take a picture of where you have installed in the case?
Okay. When I get home though my plan is to loosen the cooler a little cause I may have overtightened it, and if that does nothing then reseat the CPU. I have tried a different USB header already for the USB cord from the aio, and I made sure to have all the fans on the correct headers
Hey i have a question I've been streaming from my PS4 straight to YouTube for a while, but i wanted to start streaming from my xbox and for some reason my test stream to twitch had a lot of audio cutouts and visual bugs, i was streaming at 720p I'm thinking i might have to put it down to 480p, would that fix the problem or do you think its caused by something else? Also what are some general tips you have for people just now starting to stream to twitch. Things i should know. I downloaded the VOD and put it on youtube, I did a test stream with dead space as the background but i want to get my streaming running smoothly so i can stream Elden Ring.
No ive never heard of that, i can link my twitch and youtube if you want, i have 2 test streams and 1 full stream thats a full buggy mess barely worth uploading but i did anyway @TenderSausage
7:05 PM
Actually i cant figure out how to get a link for my twitch from my phone, and im at work right now. Couod i send a screenshot of my account and you can look for it yourself?
7:05 PM
The vods are public
7:05 PM
And uploaded to me youtube
7:06 PM
I just went to that inspector thing im not certain i trust giving it the abikity to change my titles and cut my vods and stuff

@Daniel_plays32 Do you have an Nvidia graphics card? What version of the drivers are installed?
No current plans of streaming but is a goal at some point Just feel like you all would be best to ask my question. INPUT: -PC -XBOX OUTPUT: -Headphones -Speakers also need a mic that works on both hopefully attached to the headphones lol Best case Its a single button press to switch from Xbox to PC or headphones to speakers. Best case I wanna use Discord while I play on the Xbox. As of now my setup I have 2 different speakers 1 for Xbox 1 for computer and no headset I want to change this so I can have 1 headset 1 speaker system. I'm not sure if I should use an audio mixer from what I have found they don't work great with mic's but a little mix amp looks like a great solution for what I'm looking for. For my headset just a wired open backed headset that's good for most music good with bass for music and has good spatial positioning for fps games 200 dollar limit on the headset is best case but I'm just trying to figure out how to do this. Any Suggestions??? PLEASE HELP ME(edited)
hey, i was suing sorayuki's multi-rtmp plugin on my old computer to multistream, but my current firewall on my new one is preventing me from downloading it cuz it thinks its a virus, does anyone have any other plugin recommendations? - if anyone replies pinging me is okay
Hey do any of you know a free to use editing software that doesn't have an obsurdly Huge Watermark, im fine with a watermark as long as its small and in the corner
Professional video editing, color correction, visual effects and audio post production all in a single application. Free and paid versions for Mac, Windows and Linux.
@Godless You can have as many or little fans as you want; Maintaining low ambient temperatures is the goal.
5:59 PM
Is your computer overheating? Increase airflow by adding a fan. Is the air inside the case warmer than the outside air by a substantial margin? Add an exhaust fan.(edited)
6:01 PM
I have three inlet and three outlet fans in my main rig:
3 Case fans, drawing air into the case;
2 Fans pushing air out of the case and through an AIO cooler;
1 Fan at the rear of the case to remove additional hot air.

Hi all - I'm just getting started but am bewildered by the software options. Outside of the content I want to create and where I want to stream it etc. does anyone have any good advice or a list of free streaming software and services I should be using or looking at?
@Urist Try OBS. Start by reading up on what it is on their website, and watching a few tutorial videos on YouTube. There are a ton of free plugins available for it. Once you’ve gotten your feet wet there, get a feel for if it’s too complicated or not; if you feel comfortable, OBS will treat you well. If it’s too complicated, take a look at the software options from each streaming service. For example, you can use Twitch Studio directly in a browser.(edited)
Hey! Im starting to lose my mind over laggy preview on streamlabs. Recording is fine, stream is fine, everything else is stable 60fps except the preview. Any ideas? Edit: Just checked last recording with fraps, both recording, and preview window appears to be 60fps entirely, but somehow the actual gameplay on preview seems to dip below 20fps at times, even though fraps says that its 60fps. Im lost. Makes the game stupid hard to play at times but everything is looking crisp on the VOD and recording. Using preview to play the game as i really CBA to be switching HDMI between monitor and capture card several times a day every time i want to play without streaming or use my PC, as theres little to none input lag anyway.(edited)
If you have the option to use another display and play on the pass-thru, that’s the ideal setup because it incurs no latency; the signal is simply passing through the box.
4:07 PM
Playing via preview will always incur latency.
4:08 PM
If it’s not an option, have you tried elevating the process priority for SLoBs?
Oh I know, the latency isn't really noticeable anyway when using the usb either, as I mentioned that I would have to be switching out hdmi's all the time if I wanted to use my monitor for pass-through and that's why I'm trying to make this work
It's really confusing because stream never lost a frame and recording locally is pretty much flawless as well. It's just the preview and I just find it really odd
First few minutes are always good, then i start getting occasional lag spikes closer to 20fps for 1-10 seconds at a time
4:13 PM
But the weird thing is that during those lag spikes, fraps says that I've never gone below 60fps. So the preview is supposedly running 60fps, but the gameplay isn't? But it's still 60fps when watching vod or recorded clip
Oh yeah. Also 7600k is OCed at 4,8ghz and ram is bumped up from 2400 to 2666. They've been stable since I bought the PC 3 years ago but I might try turning down Ram aswell, just in case.(edited)
I haven't streamed for 3 years and now that bought switch and absolutely fell in love with Odyssey, I got a cheap cap card to start streaming occasionally whenever I got time. Few hours every now and then as I got 2 young kids, but it's still fun! Obs/slobs has been updated quite a bit so there might be few things im not aware off, but it feels like I've tried almost everything(edited)
I might also try OBS today to see if there's a difference. Last time I've used slobs was pretty soon after it came out, having everything syncing easily really helped setting up as it's been a while since last time, but it all came back pretty quickly
With a little further investigation, the preview itself doesnt lag, but the projector does. I guess its slightly better on windowed mode, but its still pretty bad.
Hey y'all I got a weird conundrum was wondering if I can get some assistance. I'm using Streamlabs & my capture card is the Razer Ripsaw HD hooked up to my laptop so that I can stream from my consoles. My issue is that I can get all the console audio to come through just fine on stream, but since I'm on console I use my laptop to be logged in on Discord (From Opera GX web browser) so I can chat with my friends when I play with them, but I'm unable to find a combination of audio setting to be able to capture the discord audio to be heard via the stream. Can I get any help?
Budget and PC specs? And are you buying a new motherboard as well?(edited)

If I understood your issue, you could try to add new audio output source and use desktop audio capture. Can't think of other solutions right now as I don't know how your audio has been set up(edited)
12:37 PM
If youre not comfortable sharing desktop audio, you could route your browser's sounds to a virtual audio input using voicemeeter or such
Hey guys, people made clips out of my last stream but audio is out of sync for some clips! But there was no issue during the stream! Did this happen to anyone else?
@mmj Budget is probably the most limiting factor. Please let us know what you can spend. So far, it sounds like you are looking for a motherboard and CPU, which begs the question; Will you need RAM (probably)?(edited)
The GPU is limited by your budget and availability.
3:32 PM
For a CPU, we're supposed to be seeing a couple new Ryzen chips soon, specifically the 5500 and 5600 that should be a little less expensive than the 5600X.
3:33 PM
The 5500 will be the 5600 without SMT (AMDs version of Hyperthreading)
I stream a dnd liveplay on YouTube and I want to add music that both the players and the viewers can hear. I use discord for the video call and OBS to stream (I have used stremlabs before but returned to OBS).
This invites a member to your Discord channel that plays music that you queue up. Each member of the chat can control their own music level by controlling the bot's volume on their side.(edited)
Hello fellow streamers. The weekend is almost here! I have an issue with my connection with specific games while streaming. I can play games such as Lost Ark and GW2 no problem. When I switch over to a game like League of legends or Rainbow six siege the game just rubber bands like hell or ping spikes.
7:35 PM
Ive speedtested my connection, messed around with bitrates, encodings, output scales, my CPU isn’t overworked. I can’t seem to figure out the issue(edited)
@TenderSausage you know what i double checked my speed test and everything is halved, so I'm gonna contact my ISP and flip a table, if I hit a roadblock i'll let you know
Hey Guys, iv been trying to stream using my Lenovo Legion Y540 Laptop but am running into issues like frame drops and encoder overload. I have tried multiple possible combinations of settings, software and other methods recommended by YouTube tutorials and subreddits but nothing seems to work. I have seen other people easily stream with the same laptop at 1080p60 with decent quality video so I am confused as to why my laptop isn't able to do so. These are the specs of my laptop: Lenovo Legion Y540 Gaming Laptop i5-6300h Laptop CPU (Quad core) GTX 1650 Laptop GPU (4GB) 16 Gigabytes of 2666Mhz Laptop memory 60hz Inbuilt display and I run everything at 60fps not over it I settled down on using OBS because its supposed to be the least demanding and want to stream to Youtube on these settings: 7000 Bitrate, CBR 1080p60 Bicubic The Encoder i have set it to NVIDIA NVENC H.264(new) as thats what people are recommending but i have observed that im getting better stream using my CPU although it is putting a lot of stress on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of games are you streaming? To be quite frank 1080p60 can be taxing even on beefier hardware and if you add something on top with high gpu usage you'll end up with what you described.

i tried 240p with 30fps everything absolutely cranked down to low even in game settings and made sure OBS is top priority in windows still it was terrible
4:08 AM
If i use Nvidia Encoder it is even worse becuase the encoder chips on the 1650 mobile are 6th gen ones which are in simple terms, dog water
@Teraxyl What is your GPU and CPU utilization when you're not streaming, but still playing a game? As much detail as possible would be appreciated. E.g. 100%CPU/80% GPU in Vanguard, etc. Use your normal settings; Whatever is an enjoyable playing experience for you.(edited)
So I read alot of places that an expander is better then using a noise gate. But I can't find anywhere if you still need to use noise suppression if you use an expander
@ChronicMayhem If you increase your expander ratio enough, it becomes a noise gate by virtue of isolating out signal below the ratio. You’d only need a noise suppressor to handle signals that you don’t like that you still hear after expanding(edited)
9:14 PM
And make sure the noise suppressor is second on the signal chain/order, so it applies after the expander.
@TenderSausage oooh ok I had it before the expander(edited)
9:22 PM
So after the expansion I should apply only light noise suppression
9:26 PM
For example: if there is fan noise, but the expander is making it so you can't hear it, but when I talk, you can hear it...is that when the noise suppression comes into play?
@ChronicMayhem Sorry for the delay. Personally, I like to EQ first to get rid of tonal imbalance, and then I like to add dynamics (compressor, gate, limiter). After that, I go for effects and stuff with gain/distortion first, followed by delay/reverb.
2:13 PM
I would go EQ, compressor, limiter. Depending on the room noise you're trying to remove, it might be best to knock that out first (before the EQ), but you might have to play with that one to see where it fits best in the order.
2:13 PM
You shouldn't need both an expander and a compressor; They're essentially opposite of each other.
Hey everyone, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with the “Elgato Camlink Pro”. I plan to run in on an “intel core i9 MacBookPro” using an egpu enclosure through thunderbolt 3. Now I see on the website that it’s not Mac compatible. Is there any workaround? I know there are alternatives from China but I prefer this one because it’s in my budget and available locally. Thanks in advance!(edited)
I have a live gig coming up and I’ve been doing alright with my current Frankenstein set up but it’s nerve racking thinking that it can all fall apart any second lol
I just discovered reaper vst plugs for voicemeter and I'm just getting into adding these to voice meters so I can do all my voice settings outside of OBS And then just input the output from voice meter with all the plugins into OBS Discord, whatever and sound the same in all of them. The problem I'm having is I can't find a plug-in for an expander, I like the expander more than a noise gate. Does anyone have a suggestion? And on top of that, does anyone know better plugins than the reaper ones? So far I've liked the reaper plug in but if there are better options I'm open to them Thank you

Hey, does anyone have experience with voice transformers? I have an issue with playback on my Roland VT-4. Specifically when I have my headphones plugged into the phone jack on the VT-4, I also transmit my computer audio through my microphone. I'm trying to use the VT-4 for changing my voice for streaming and D&D, and when I'm running games I'll have music playing in the background, which unfortunately gets picked up by the mic. Is there a way to prevent the playback from occurring? I'm not seeing anything in the manual about disabling it. A solution I've found is having my headphones plugged directly into my computer, but the downside of this is I can't hear how my voice is being affected by the VT-4
@buttcheeksio I can weigh in on this a bit later, after some coffee. Basically, it's a mixing issue. We may need to use a mixing software like VoiceMeeter to get you set up.

Hi, I don't know if this is the right channel but here goes: One of my friend is being overwhelmed by bots, If I can say so. He streams with around 180 viewers, but when he writes "/raid x", it shows that only 15 people are ready to raid, which shows that most of his viewers aren't real. He still streams casually, but then the chat gets invaded by these bots that say 4-5 identical phrases each, along the lines of "Love your channel!" or "How can we subscribe"? He's getting pretty tired of this and has wrote to Twitch many times, without success. Is there something he can do?
Has he tried running the ban lists? I cant remember the link (maybe someone else will know it) but there's tools out there that will go through a list of known bots and ban them all for you, takes a while but if he's dealing with that many bots it will be worth it

hey y'all I was wondering if someone could help me with the weird color issue i'm having with my webcam?? Dark colors always show up purple like my chair and my hats and sometimes my clothes. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
Hope this is the right place I've recently moved from a super bright light bulb to two Litra Glow lights, and now my display desk is dark/washed out. Any simple solutions to brighten up the area?
I'm streaming with a capture card and a cannon rebel T6, I cropped out the issue with the no clear HDMI output, but it turns off after about 30 mins and I have to restart it every 30 mins or so. I have it plugged into a dc adapter and have the screen timeout disabled. Is this just a T6 problem or is there something I could do?
@Gabbing About It looks to me like you have a lighting issue. Fore lighting is probably too high, and back lighting is too low. See if you can add a little bit of light behind you to separate you from the background.

I don't have any filters applied in OBS. I have put a soft orange LUT on now and it's made it a little better. Might just stick with that until I can get a new one!

There's a spot where you can check the white point for the camera. It might be set to a manual setting, and if you set it to Auto it might correct that.

Let me fire up my other computer and snag a screenshot

Simple question, do you use a compressor on your desktop/game audio(not your microphone) in your stream? Or do you just use a limiter and crank it? If you use a compressor what ratio/settings do you use?
hi guys I have a very specific problem I'd appreciate all and any help. I'm using a dual PC setup, an elgato 4k mk2 capture card, OBS to stream. On the gaming PC im currently using the clone method to duplicate my main desktop. This works fine with 99% of games EXCEPT csgo. With csgo only I'm experiencing what I would describe as input lag/poor hit registration. Again only with csgo alt tabbing causes my pc to freeze for 2-3seconds and opening and closing csgo causes a similar freeze. I'm wondering if I need to adjust the scaling settings or something similar on the nvidia control panel to optimise how this is working. With the duplicate display disabled, csgo opens and closes flawlessly aswell as alt tabbing. Gaming pc is a 5900x, 32gb ram and a 2070super. I'm nowhere near any of my limits and get no fps drop for enabling the clone. All help is greatly appreciated as it is one of my core games and incredibly annoying.
9:54 PM
im playing at 1080p, and 144hz so well within the capture cards+gaming pcs limits again
Hey guys, Im thinking of doing a Hot tub stream as a joke since I actually have an indoor hot tub in my basement. However i'm concerned that my microphone may not accurately pick my voice. Its a dynamic microphone, a Samson Q2U. Is there any settings I can adjust so that it picks up more sound?
@Canello Here’s my two cents: Your best placement is probably going to be an overhead mic on a boom pointed down. Avoid putting it directly over the hot tub if possible to minimize humidity exposure (steam rises) Avoid using an expensive condenser mic if possible; use a shotgun mic if you have one. The Samson Q2U is directional, so if you use that, make sure the end is addressed at where you will be, and make sure you talk at the microphone. You will have room noise, and it will be unavoidable without other measures.
Hey guys I have a weird problem with my Sony a5100. I don’t know what setting changed, but I’m getting this ripple/screen door effect on my white tank top. What’s extra weird is that it only appears when the image is shrunk, like when my face cam is scaled down to fit the rest of the screen
8:50 AM
If I blow it up to full size, the rippling goes away
So if you have a full-screen version of a source, and then a smaller resolution version, it might look better because the smaller one is actually at 1:1 detail instead of a downsampled and rendered version.
7:51 PM
You would use the smaller one anytime you want that source smaller, like in a PIP view
Ohhhhh. I see what you’re saying. So the full-screen resolution is for the “hanging out” scene when I’m waiting to game, and then I make a new source at a lower resolution for the thumbnail
I'm looking to get a chat box on stream that only showers tier 2 or tier 3 subscribers. I've been trying hard to find a video on the subject but failing :((edited)
So, your goal is to allow all users to chat in the Twitch chat, but have a chat box on-stream that only displays chat for T2 subs and up. Is that correct? @Scoutmaster Demi(edited)
Yes that's correct! I feel that is the easiest way to accomplish my goal

To be more clear I'm doing a mock "courtroom" event with a prosecutor and defense attorney. I'd like those speakers' (and possibly witnesses') chatboxes to appear on stream while everyone else remains in the chatroom(edited)
In my head it's simple but maybe in practice it isn't. I just want their chatroom text to be "elevated" to being onscreen so everyone can see them. Otherwise their "voices" will get drowned out by other users(edited)
If possible I'd love some pointers in that direction. It's my third month streaming, there's a ton for me to learn and it's hard for me to find videos on this specific subject(edited)
10:22 PM
In fact, I sincerely appreciate the help you've given so far @TenderSausage
Basically create a command that they can use that would give them a specific color of text in the chat. It's not the solution you asked for, but I can see that working as a step forward.(edited)
Hey everyone! I'm experiencing issues with the Wave Link software. I don't want to uninstall then reinstall in case there's another solution out there. Basically, I believe it was the most recent update that kinda messed up my audio. Anything in game (specifically League and Apex) are now super low (they're maxed out to begin with). Has anyone had issues or know of a fix? Thank you! ❤️
Hello all, looking for some help with an issue I'm having, described here: Alright, kind of a weird issue I'm having, but it's been going on for about a week now, so I'll try to describe it the best I can.
I stream various video games, using OBS Studios, on twitch, have been for a couple months (and recently did it for years on YouTube before I decided to migrate over). For the last week or so, I will start a twitch stream through OBS as I have for some time now to play a PC game. I use a stream elements overlay with a facecam.
After 5-20 minutes (varies), my computer that I am playing on/streaming from loses internet connection. My computer is connected via ethernet cord to the router. All other devices in the house (which utilize wifi) are unaffected. The fix is to restart the computer, doesn't matter if I restart it 10 seconds or 10 minutes after the disconnect, once it's rebooted the computer is connected to the internet again.
I restart the game and stream, everything is fine. At this point, I can stream for hours without any issues whatsoever, including ending the stream and starting a new one an hour or so later. The issue seems to re-occur the next day, on the first stream I attempt to start, but not on subsequent streams the same day.
So, it's kind of annoying, for obvious reasons. And due to the nature of the problem, I have no idea what it could be. If I need to provide any further details, please let me know.
@seahawksbrndn What does your Windows log say around that time?
2:44 PM
Two logs could tell us what's going on, the OBS log (Help-> Log Files -> View Current Log) and Windows Event Viewer.(edited)
2:45 PM
OBS log will tell us the session issue, and the Event Viewer will show us if there's a driver fault or a hardware failure around the same time. Then, we can figure it out from there.
does anybody know if it's possible to snip the last 2/3 minutes of a stream in OBS much like you can with MedalTV for gaming? My husband and I have had fun snipping League moments using MedalTV, but I kind of hate that Medal's interface is exclusive and makes it difficult to share. For example, MedalTV video links do not play automatically in Facebook like they could if uploaded to YouTube, and you can't even comment unless you download MedalTV's software to make an account. I'm trying to find if OBS has a similar stream snip feature, since we're also familiar with that for live streaming. My use case would be recording a stream to upload later, but to save space/make editing easier I'd be cool if I could instead run OBS and press a hotkey to save off the last few minutes of recording as a separate file. I know I could just record everything and edit later, but I'd rather not sift through hours of content later looking for those 30 second funny clips. Tech setup in case it helps, but for this purpose we should have all this part figured out: Output/Broadcast Settings: screen and audio capture to upload later i.e. recording, not live video Video Settings: OBS screen capture from one player point of view, no player camera for this purpose Computer Specs: Windows desktop PCs Streaming Equipment: 2 mics hooked up to a mixer, we have this part all figured out

What kind of mic setup would you recommend via the USB interface? Budget let's say up to $250
ours is probably a little outside that range, but you might be able to get all the pieces much more cheaply looking on eBay instead of buying new (like I think we got a pack of 3 mixing boards for $30, and found a knock-off of the mic for $50, but I can't remember where). It sounds really good though! -sE V7 dynamic microphone https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/V7mic--se-electronics-v7-supercardioid-dynamic-vocal-microphone -Behringer XENYX 2-channel mixer https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0575 -Steinberg 2-channel USB audio interface https://www.amazon.com/Steinberg-UR22-2-Channel-Audio-Interface/dp/B00B1FFPYO You can also skip the mixer completely, I've done that to have a smaller setup for my laptop for running tabletop RPGs (so I could mix audio from my phone in for sound effects). You miss some customizing with the channels from not including the mixer, but depending on your purposes you may not need that, and your microphone will still sound just as good.
Two industry-acclaimed D-PRE microphone preamps, class-leading 24-bit/192 kHz converters and a rock-solid metal housing, the UR22 audio and MIDI interface provides pure sound wherever you are. @vulpisetclava You're looking for an all-in-one USB microphone, correct? For me, it's a toss up between the Wave:3 and the Yeti X.

The Wave:3 isn't as rich as the Yeti X, but the software is much more friendly than the garbage Logitech G Hub software.

@razkataz Replay buffer is an option. I do the record and edit later method, personally. I've gotten in the habit of using a specific sound, something I can see on the Audio waveform easily, that I can use as a way to quickly clip out stuff. I can push a button to have the sound show up in the stream/recording on my Stream Deck or any macro controller.

It's kind of like using markers in your editor

Another option is to use a timestamp software, and then have a series of buttons that take note of key events in your production. I've used this many times and it works well. Check out the InfoWriter plugin for OBS.

Using InfoWriter and a run-of-show is a really solid way of doing a production.(edited)

Flexibility, yes, but also complexity in most cases.

Your original ask was for a "mic setup" with a "USB interface". I took this to mean a USB microphone, but if you want a USB interface + a microphone, there's tons of great interfaces and XLR mics out there, and at that point it's more about the kind of sound you want and budget. For the $250 budget, I'd look at the Audient Evo 4 for the interface, leaving about $100 for a mic and cable (which isn't a lot).
Hello, new here and looking for help. Does anyone know what the lowest bit rate is for a 720p 60fps stream? I’ve been experimenting with CBR between 3000-4500 kbps but it still looks very blurry.
