Hey guys, hoping for some help if thats ok. Last night I was streaming and a bot came into the chat and started advertising and I promptly banned him. A short time later, 722 illegitimate followers suddenly all followed at the same time. I'm 100% they must all be bots, I'm not a big channel and I wasn't raided / hosted. Its left a really bad taste in my mouth and I would like them gone. Does anyone know how to remove these bot / false followers? And is there anyway to stop this happening in future.

Yea @RoadToOneHundred a lot of them just fall off as well as you don’t pay them for the service. A few people here have had that happen. Mods help it too. I feel like there is a timer on them. Like if they don’t get banned in x amount of time they drop the follows. I’ve never been hit by it but have had the “want to be famous” people

Just left a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm 20 followers off of 50 but I'd achieved everything else for affiliate. So now I've been sent the email asking me to sign up for affiliate but dont feel like I've earned it and its tained the experiance for me. I'm just not gonna accept it until I hit 50 followers but it's not the same

@OozleBoozled personally I dont think changing it all the time is a good idea, you wanna figure out who you are as a streamer so your overlay reflects that and people remember it. Changing it consistently might mess with that

Hoping! Appreciate the encouragement. I've skipped a few sessions these past couple weeks, sadly. I work in a restaurant and all of the reopenings around COVID guidelines have been so hectic. And in the service industry sometimes you just don't have the energy to perform any more afterwards

Its a holiday all about family and charity. This is the time of the year when people travel to mecca for pilgrimage

Is there something people do besides the pilgrimage? I imagine not everyone does it. You visit family by the looks of things, but do you do something specific? Or is it just a day where you enjoy visiting each other and have a good time within the family?

When I was around 22, I briefly dated a Muslim woman who was extremely lovely. Ananda. However, as I learned more about the religion from her in our time together, I also learned that if you were to convert for someone to being a Muslim, it would not be right in the eyes of Allah. And I couldn't find it in myself in my heart of hearts to become a Muslim, I could not see Allah in the way she and her strict family did.

Followers or viewers? The goals in streamlabs only change when you're live. So if you had a follower goal and you gained or lost followers while offline, it didn't adjust to reflect that. Very annoying, because to change the number on the goal you have to basically make a new one

I actually turned off follower goal tho on the attachments. Everytime you lost one you had to manually go in and change it. There was a while there I was losing 1-2 follows a day as I adjusted what my channel exactly wass

Excellent. Now I never have to stream again with that kinda follower loyalty. Muahahaha.
