It reduces work for mods and lessens how much NSFW or NSFL content gets posted by bad actors who dont really want to be a part of the community, as well as scammers.

makes 100% sense. its more or less a minimum necessity anymore for work, communication with everyone you know, accessing a ton of major things and financials, etc. it is expensive and fragile, and it houses wayyyy too much personal or valuable data access. i had to have my own phone heavily locked down and protected because i used to have to do medical paperwork for patients while working the mental health clinic on it.

uh question for those who are familiar with warhammer 4Ok, how the f do you get into the lore, do i need to read all four hundred novels? please give me recommendations on how to approach this franchise properly
There are several ways to approach it The most clear cut way is to read stuff like the wiki and read the books, however the wiki is difficult because you don't know what you're looking for and the books aren't very concise because of the dates at which they are published (stuff written around 3rd and 4th edition, like Gaunts Ghosts, might have vastly different standards and depictions of Space Marine capabilities, than say Fall of Cadia which is several editions later) and because later entries will lack a lot of exposition that they assume you as the reader just know. There are a lot of podcasts or series, both on YouTube and Spotify that explain typically one topic per episode. Series divided into 10 minute episodes usually only dabble in the topics on a very very surface level, whereas stuff between 1-3 hours can range anywhere between a complimentary introduction along with reading other material or a full explanation. There are some niche channels that go more in depth about specific events (like Janovich's Horus Heresy video) and then there are also channels that attempt a more casual, pop culture overview of specific topics like Adeptus Ridiculous.

Reading faction Codex is also another way. A faction codex refers to the rulebooks of specific factions in the tabletop. They contain rules to a factions playstyle on the 40k tabletop but they also often contain some flavor text to read.

Tzeentch got Magnus' Thousand Sons, Nurgle got Mortarions Death Guard, Khorne got Angrons World Eaters and Slaanesh got Fulgrims Emperors Children. Before the Horus Heresy all of them weren't influenced by Chaos (except Magnus by technicality of being a very powerful psyker who didn't know what he was doing) but after the Horus Heresy they were all through subterfuge put into service of the Chaos Gods and went from being regular Primarchs to becoming supercharged Demon Primarchs.

The Luna Wolves, which are Horus' Legion, were also put into service of Chaos, however Abaddon (Horus' second in command and inheritor of the Luna Wolves following his total eradication from reality) later reformed the force into the Black Legion which technically works as a cooperative Chaos Marine Legion between all four gods.
