Great start to the day. Alarm clock goes off at 03.55. Am heading to the office in Stockholm today, which is a 4,5 hour trip. Just as I reach my first train I get a text msg saying my train has been cancelled. Instead I can take a later one. That takes 4,45 hours instead of the original 2,56. This means I'll be up at lunch, which sucks. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that I did this commute weekly for ten years at my old job working at PC Gamer, and that train traffic is appalling here now compared to 25 years ago (and pretty lousy in general). What to most people would be a minor delay is to me like carving in my arm with a dull, rusty blade and then pouring salt in the wound, while forcing me to listen to disco for five hours straight. I guess it could be worse. It could be country music.
