Ok guys, I cant believe I have tp say this, but dont call in extraction when you're not going to extract. Also, dont call in friendly reinforcements when you're pinned down, and don't call in friendlies just to distract a group of enemies

I've been bartending for a little over a year, so many great craft and imports I've had in that time. It was a great experience, even though the job was crap

@miitchimus Hi, I was directed to ask Community Managers from one of the Support Team folks. Do you know if there's a press media kit with images/assets/icons and the like?(edited)
@Alethleon@Baskinator Hi, one of the Support Team folks couldn't answer a question I had, but said the Community Managers might know. Do you know if there's a press media kit with images/assets/icons and the like?
Lick tests A student study by Purdue University concluded that it took an average of 365 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop using a "licking machine", while it took an average of 253 licks when tried by 20 students.

@MrBadgi What you said here, I want to talk to you about it: https://discord.com/channels/1102970375731691612/1102973812179488798/1265268000823578685 1.) I think your first point is right. Commando (kind of?) powercreeps SPEAR in this regard, though I don't think it's a massive issue. While you can guide the rockets with Commando, it still takes time and you can still miss. For reasons I will list below, I think the nerf should be this: It needs 2 rockets from the Commando to destroy a fabricator. I don't think taking out the interaction would be good. 2.) The reason the other "Rocket launchers" can't do what the SPEAR and Commando can do, is because they aren't rocket launchers. They are Recoilless Rifles. Ahoy in his video about the weapon explained the difference very well, it's less than a minute, please watch it: https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxYlH0d04Ikf48RSLBTv6ctos4HIsrpVPN?si=GbLIWp68VVtZQuv2 Recoilless Rifle and EATs are Recoilless Rifles, not Rocket Launchers. SPEAR and Commando are Rocket Launchers. Quasar is a sci-fi energy weapon so I cannot comment on that. This is the reason why I think it would thematically fit to retain Commandos ability to destroy fabricators, while still being a weaker version than the SPEAR, and technically "by the numbers", weaker than the other bazookas too. 3.) It doesn't trivialise Blitz missions. Not any more than the SPEAR does, or other stratagems. Blitz missions are 12 minute mini-missions that are meant to be done fast. I don't think that is a problem at all.

Oh and it's important to remember that Bot front is still just half of the game. Commando doesn't do much for bug front blitz missions, which makes it good in an even more niche scenario. I like it like that.

The reason I posted it here is because I wanted to post a media that doesn't include Helldivers, and of course I couldn't do that on General chat

@Community Manager could you take this as official feedback from me? I think it makes sense for the Commando to be able to destroy fabricators. With that said, I think it'd be reasonable to nerf it so it takes 2 rockets instead of 1 to do so.

I find funny how often people put this kind of bullshit in the wrong channel like... How hard is to put this in the chats that are corresponding to talk about the game or their improvements.(edited)
What? All souls games are overrated af, just cuz won the GOTY doesn't mean is THE best game. Remember that they gave that title to TLOU 2 as well and that game sucked ass(edited)
Elden Ring is Miyazaki's best attempt at his ideal game so far, he even said "And while Elden Ring is not quite it, it's pretty close. It's getting close." but I don't compare the games because there are lots of influences in the game from dark souls, maybe even sekiro.
if he starts another franchise it will be way too similar to elden ring, he gotta make elden ring 2 or bloodborne 2 if he wants to get closer to his ideal game without problems

looks like someone isn't having fun getting 1 shot by every boss
just rest at a bonfire, or whatever's equivalent of it. hell, or just go afk in a place you already cleared of enemies they aren't coming back. But bossfights, I don't think they should be paused(edited)
If it happens, it happens. At the end of the day it's a game. The boss or enemies will wait for you there forever while the irl stuff you mentioned are time sensitive and much more important

It's a part of the game. Maybe dumb only for you and people who think like you. If it was really dumb to the point it was a huge nuisance they would've added a pause function a long time ago. But who knows? Maybe miyazaki will add a pause function in his next game but I doubt it.
Lennart
There's apparently no pause function in Elden Ring? You gotta admit that's kinda dumb
Its part of the games challenge to make it so you cant pause in the middle of a diffficult area the inly areas you are safe are sites of grace wich are supposed to work as checkpoints
Punishing people for having a life outside of the game.

its not punishing you for having life outside the game you dont lose any progress ever you can come and go as you please

In original dark souls bonfures worked as checkpoints for the player character that make sure you dont have to start all over again they can also work as the pause menu
Lennart
And I'm saying that it's silly and adds arbritary annoyances outside of the game
Checkpoints are fine and pretty normal but not having a pause function for a game when playing alone is silly

Automaton mission idea. You know sometimes automaton anti orbital guns sometimes hits a super destroyer? And it explodes? Well what if that ship crashes on the planet and you have to dive into the wreckage face off automaton threats and you have to save the people in Cryo tubes and call down the ship you call down for evacuation missions and for you to get them on board you must manually pry open the cryo to free them and carry them to evac lol does this sound like a fun mission type?
