and many people are using it to dunk on the maintenance of the game when it is still new. They neglect to remember every game will tend to deal with these issues
and all of those games get bashed to the heck because of it, its not acceptable or a standard of an industry to launch products that has issues like this, even though i understand how gaming development works nowadays and it is unavoidable, nevertheless it doesn't make it fine. I don't see how this 1 hour slow mode solves people being rightfully negative. People are bitching because they enjoy the game and want to play. Just let them vent, its not like we can have a normal conversation anyway with a slow mode like this.

Me looking at the slow-mo timer, I don't get why people won't just stfu and uninstall the game if you will cry like a little bitch about it because you can't be patient, don't you have anything better to do 
I hope they are willing to reward all of us who braved through the first couple launch days with a few in game goodies 
I like how people keep complaining that they can't connect and are wondering if the announcement is correct, since servers are down now and the post says they'll be down in 2 hours. And then pronouns lady chimes in with "see the announcement!" like we are all blind and can't see that it says servers will be down in 2 hours and that we're asking why they're down NOW lmao. Such nuance. Great, five people can play. (and not get rewards) But servers are totally up.
the servers are not down, just unavailable for most. And this nuance won't be understood by the general public.

I just wanna know why publishers can't have games that work well at launch. Like to be honest I dont think I've seen any game in YEARS have a smooth launch that didn't require patch after patch after maintenance after maintenance in the days following launch. Why can't these companies do the prep work and get the problems worked out BEFORE releasing it to the public?
games are very complex, and devs don't have enough time anymore as suits are pushing to release as early as possible. Also we gamers allowed them to do this, all they have to do is fix it later and everything is good

@Baskinator sorry for the ping and sorry if it's not the correct place! May I suggest a very handy feature Discord has for your announcements? Giving the time like you did is great! But with timezones not being always the easiest for everyone, I'd suggest using timestamps instead! This is a timestamp: They adapt depending of the person's timezone to give very accurate times! I don't think Discord has an built-in way to create those timestamps, but you can easily find timestamp generators online and use those to create the timestamps you need, with the display you want! ...

I understand why slowmo was turned on but this kills the ability for folks to answer the constant trickle of new people. Not that it'll stop the unending asking of the same question but we can at least mediate it by answering

they are more afraid of the negative pressure than killing off any kind of conversation right now
To be fair, most of the "talk" is people parroting the same question and answers, and if they were all given free rein to keep talking, I doubt anyone would be able to keep up with chat.

People are looking at the announcements, but the announcement is incorrect or doesn't give enough info. People are 'spamming it' until they get in but then they aren't getting rewards when they finish missions. Servers are dowwwwn.
How hard is it to check the announcement tab, where announcements are made, if you want to hear announcements?

Servers are not down, plenty of people can connect. You just have to spam it until you get in

The other approach would require them to have a more active team which obviously they don't have the numbers for right now, so they went with what they can manage. They need to expand their team and get a proper moderator team set up if they wanna keep channels open and relatively sane
